Nov.23rd,2007 This letter was in the guest book this morning but had to share it with you on this page was to
funny and sounds so like Dustin. He is so awesome and a gentlemen too LOL
I first met Dustin working on the Vantage,
we sat down and just talking , turns out he went to Katy H.S and I went to Mayde Creek, he talked of a friend that we both
knew and others as well. We became friends and talked whenever we saw one another, he definitley made my day considering i
was away from home. Having him them there was like a small taste of home when I was so far away. There is a funny story i
have to tell you. On the boat we all wash our clothes in the laundry room, some of my personnals got misplaced or mixed up
with some one elses, i found him placing my cloths in my wash bag for me and i was joking around and said so it was you who
stole my undies he looked at me and laughed, i told him what had happened and as a joke he told me that he would make me a
pair out of rope, i told him in return ok tomorrow i expect a nice pair of braided underwear haha or somthing to that nature,
sure enough that following day it wasnt made out of rope but of the used 'O' rings from the guns and brillo pads and stuff
i told him that ill wear it and he can market it and call it the gun string haha... getting to know him as i did was great,
he was supposed to come down here to galveston where i reside my parents still being in katy, he told me how he would be doing
some stuff and get back to me, he never did and i just figured that he got busy and i would see him on the ship. Alas i went
to crew change and was told/asked did i know what happened, i thought some one was playing a cruel joke, turns out it wasnt,
your son was very kind and cute might i add haha thank you for letting me get to know such a wonderful person and he will

Dustin, I thought this was too funny and sweet so I wanted to share it with you. I saw Gloria and
Big Billy (now handsome Billy LOL) yesterday. Gloria told me that you came to visit her last week as a BEE and she laughed
and smiled and knew it was you just by the actions of the BEE. She said it flew around the room and would get close
to her, then back away, then closer and back away. Just as she was thinking, I need to shoo it out the door, it flew
out. She sat and started laughing and said "Dustin, I know that was you teasing me" and she loves you! You probably know that
she feels life in the Bee and I thought it was awesome. You are being around those you love in a way they know it is you.
No, we all have not gone nuts (LOL) even though it may sound that way to others. I know you do understand and are smiling
with us. Keep up the good work watching over us each day and keeping a smile on our face. Love you! Mother
Dustin, Danyell did get married on the 12th as planned and so missed you being there but knew your
spirit was with them all. It is so funny I have known her mom from church and met Danyell when we helped the church shelter
when the hurricane victims were in Katy. But never did any of us know we all knew the same Dustin.
