April Fool
Small April sobbed I'm going to cry
Please give me a cloud to wipe my eye
Then April Fool she laughed instead
And smiled a rainbow overhead.
April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day, though
not a holiday in its own right, is a notable day celebrated in many countries on April 1
If you read ABOUT ME by Dustin you will see his favorite
holiday was April Fool’s. He had the spirit of laughter every day even when days were not so good. He always had a smile
for someone. His nature was to have fun and enjoy life and shared that spirit with so many. So even though this is really
not a holiday I added this page for Dustin. Love you! Mother
You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing. -- Michael Pritchard
Never be afraid to laugh at yourself, after all, you could be missing out on the joke of the century.-- Dame Edna Everage
"April 1st: This is the day upon which we are reminded
of what we are on the other three-hundred and sixty-four." Mark Twain
When I was a kid, I said to my father one afternoon, 'Daddy, will you take me to the
zoo?' He answered, 'If the zoo wants you, let them come and get you.' Jerry Lewis
When : April 1st
Traditionally, April Fool's Day is an opportunity
for playing jokes or tricks on one another. The stranger and the more absurd the better. The challenge is to carry out a trick
that is believable, if only for a little while. Tricks are most successful if played earlier in the day before a person is
wise to what is going on. Younger children are also more gullible.
Any tricks or jokes must be harmless and
in good taste for the unsuspecting "victim". And, we suggest you think twice before pulling one on the boss, even if he or
she is know to be of good humor.
Important: Jokes and gags must be harmless and fun. They must not be dangerous or hurt anyones feelings. Give your jokes and
gags some thought before carrying them out. Ten, have fun!
Happy April Fool's Day
If you feel as if you could use more
joy, try this:
* Spend time daily doing something
you enjoy.
* Do those things that bring inner
peace.
* Learn to laugh heartily and frequently.
* Cultivate an attitude of hope.
* Fill each day with as much love
as it can possibly hold.
You'll still have plenty of problems,
but through it all, you'll find all you joy you will ever need.
