Dustin's First Christmas In Heaven

What an awesome night we had. Family and friends all gathered together to share smiles, laughter and stories of Dustin’s life. I feel a lot of peace was given tonight to many. I know myself personally found such peace and joy. I want to thank all of you that did come and also for those that were with us in your hearts.

A Special Thank You to Billy and Gloria Bryant for allowing us to have it at their home and for helping making it all possible. A lot of thank you’s to Lisa Rhodes, Paul Brockenbush, my son-in-law, and so many more.

You all made me have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!

Christmas in Heaven

'Tis Christmas in Heaven
What a beautiful sight!
It's my first one here;
Everything is all right.

The crib is adorned
With the brilliance of stars,
Wisemen have come
From Venus and Mars.

I've met all our dear ones
Who preceded us here;
The reunion was lovely,
An event full of cheer.

And tonight we'll all gather,
In reverence we'll kneel,
For the Babe in the cradle
Up in Heaven is Real.

I think of my family
that I left behind
And I pray that your Christmas
Is as blessed as mine

Please shed no more tears,
For my soul is at rest,
Just love one another;
Live life to its best.

Yes, It's Christmas In Heaven,
So I've heard them say,
Yet, Christmas In Heaven
Happens every day.

I took this picture very early morning Dec.15th, 2007. I was praying out the window as I do every morning and was praying for strength for The Celebration that night. And if you look close you will see Dustin's smile peeking above the tree amongst the cloudy sky. I knew right then all was going to be Great and Peace be found.
