SENIOR FLOW SHEET DESIGNER,

BHP Billion Offshore GEP  Project. Responsible for creation of PFD’s and P&ID’s for project utilizing engineer’s sketches and discussions. Responsible for attending project meetings and document items discussed into drawings.Updating drawing data base, issuing project documents according to schedule, ensure that project specifications are follwed.

SENIOR FLOW SHEET DESIGNER

Exxon/Mobil Umbrella Projects. Responsible for the creation of PFD’s and P&ID’s utilizing engineers mark-ups and sketches.

 

 

November 2005 to June 15, 2007                  Fluor Corporation, Houston , TX

SENIOR PROCESS DESIGNER

Coordinated the effort to produce quality PFD's on schedule utilizing Autocad 2004.

Supported the Process Lead in producing P&ID's. This included: creating Process Graphics Standards to be distributed to the GEC offices. Help to transmit and receive drawings from satellite offices which included taking scanning of drawings to be transmitted, creating daily work packages and plotting drawings when received. Maintained and back checked Cad files in the Houston office for engineers. Created line list reports to be utilized by piping's WPCD program. Created OPC reports for clean up effort at the satellite offices. Maintain drawing logs to help project with P&ID schedule.

Responsible for creating Smart Plant symbols (equipment, piping components and instrumentation) utilizing Catalog Manager. Created Smart Plant drawings utilizing Smart Plant v4.3. Helped  maintain the continuity of the database from the GEC offices by utilizing Smart Plants Consistency Checking tool.  Utilized Rebis AutoPLANT 2D to pick up redline marks for OSBL and utility drawings.

Job required the ability to interpret customer plot plans, orthographic drawings, P&IDs, instrumentation drawings, vessels, skids and piping isometrics. Drew piping isometrics for the purpose of depicting electric heat tracing layout and design. Drew scale vessel developments utilizing AutoCAD viewports. Drew piping isometrics from vendor furnished skid drawings. Job required the ability to use AutoCAD 2002, Thermon specific custom menus and a working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.

 

January 2004 to February 2005      Lyn Tile, Inc.

Responsible for project cost estimating of commercial and multi-family construction nationwide. Position responsibilities include the cost estimating of materials, labor, profit margin for the installation of ceramic tile, marble, stone and granite in both multi-family and commercial industries. Estimates of project square footage taken from both paper drawings and electronic files utilizing digitizers, on-screen take-off programs and CAD. Estimates prepared utilizing custom Excel Spreadsheets. My responsibilities also include the creation of shop fabrication drawings for custom cut stone.

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Responsible for generating casting and machining CAD drawings in accordance with ANSI 14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerances standards. Perform basic mechanical design for parts, produce assembling layouts, sectional drawings, work instructions, catalog dimension drawings and BOM's. Check drawings for accuracy, format and completeness. Determine tolerances and other drawing requirements by reading and interpreting technical specifications. Enter information into various engineering databases including the item master and product structure records. Work directly with project team members, vendors and shop people for the on time completion of projects.
